Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has red-green color blindness.  That is why Facebook’s main color is blue because to him, “blue is the richest color for me – I can see all of blue.”  Zuckerberg is far from being alone with the condition.  Worldwide, color blindness affects approximately 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women.

An accidental discovery by glass scientist Dr. Don McPherson led to the EnChroma lens that can help some color deficient people.  It doesn’t work for everyone, but for those who it does work, the results can be truly spectacular.
